Haj Minister Bandar Hajjar said that Umrah operators were currently
ready to be given online applications for visas, He said more that they
announced for request. He supported companies functioning in the field
to give the finest services for pilgrims, who are their accountability
on appearance in the Kingdom.

He said that the online system had worked easily last year, with over
6 million applications procedured. Only 6,000 pilgrims had stayed
unlawfully in the Kingdom, he said. “Making easy the pilgrimage of this
enormous number of Muslims would not have been probable but for the huge
growth plan assumed on the orders of guardian of the Two Holy Masjid
King Abdullah,” Hajjar said.
He said that new rules would be acted on this year intended at developing services for Umrah pilgrims.
