How to Apply for Haj Visa 2015

British Muslims who have never visited Saudi Arabia in their life usually do not know how to apply for Haj visa. Therefore, they often face problems when they plan to perform the holy ritual. To guide such people British Haj Travel has compiled some valuable information for them that will prove quite helpful and make the process more easy for them.

Visas

To get Haj visa, British Muslims should acquire the services of an authorised travel agency which will forward their visa application to the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia on their behalf. The reason for acquiring the services of authorised travel agent is that the Ministry of Haj has bonded the pilgrims to do so. As a result, pilgrims send their request to the Saudi Consulate along with their passports and other necessary travelling documents through their travel agent.

The ministry issues free Haj visas every year from the mid of Shawal to the 25th of Dhual Qa-dah, which will valid your stay in Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah. However, pilgrims cannot use Haj visas to permanently stay or work in Saudi Arabia. Also keep in mind that Haj visas are not given out to individuals, so make sure that you must not apply alone. Pilgrims should also ensure that they should use the same airport to leave Saudi Arabia through which they have arrived in the country.

Those, who want to use an internal flight to reach Madinah from Jeddah, must show their return flight ticket to Jeddah or a proof which can prove that you will travel back by land.

Valid Passport

Before giving your passports to your travel agency or agent for Haj visa, pilgrims must make sure that the validity of their passports should not be less than 6 months from the date they arrive in Saudi Arabia. Otherwise, their request of Haj visa will get rejected.

UK Emergency Travel Document

British Muslims cannot use UK Emergency Travel Documents (ETDs) to enter into Saudi Arabia, as they are acceptable for exit only.

Travel to Israel

It is highly likely that your request for entry in Haj visa will be refused, if your passport shows any proof of your previous travel to Israel or mentioning Israel as your place of birth.

Hopefully in the light of these facts, you will be able to apply for Haj visa without facing any problem. However, if you still face any problem or find the process little difficult, then you are more than welcome to call the friendly staff of British Haj Travel, who will love to assist you in any possible way.
