As symbol of Unity of all Races in Hajj and Umrah

Despite all material development of the world, human beings are not satisfied. Most of the people around us seem depressed and stressed. The real happiness is still out of reach. All the worldly luxuries are adding more emptiness to human soul. People are struggling hard to make their lives full of happiness but happiness eludes us. The wars, crimes, violence and conflicts of the world are rising and humanity is sinking rapidly in the ocean of depression and isolation. Human relations are losing worth and people have become a machine to earn and spend without achieving any happiness. Despite so many scientific inventions and social development, the major part of world is impoverished.

If we try to go deep into the causes of the bareness of human soul, we find that we have lost one most important aspect of life and that is spirituality. Most of the physiatrist are of opinion that there must be a balance between material and spiritual aspects of life but the problem is that financial requirements for survival and greed for more and more possession is rising which create stress and competition. This greed is the basic cause of our emotional and spiritual problems.

The best thing about religion is its spiritual aspect. If we are able to understand the true objective of all religions we find that all religions teach compassion and brotherhood. It promotes peace, charity and help for under privileged class of human beings but the tragedy is that we have politicized religions also. Religious clerks behave like politicians and promote hatred and divide. It has become imperative that we should think collectively to promote the real objective of religions that is the promotion of love, peace and spirituality.

Now days Islam is under sever criticism because of the wrong political reasons. The problems which are rooted in political conflicts are attributed to religions and it has caused great damage to humanity and perception about religions. The urgent need of the time in given circumstances is to promote all such religious teaching, customs and rituals that could promote love, compassion, unity, peace and brotherhood internationally.

Umrah and hajj pilgrimage are the perfect examples to demonstrate the unity, compassion, peace and brotherhood internationally. The people all around the world get together in cities of makkah and Medina to show the unity and this demonstration of hajj and Umrah truly reflect the real philosophy of Islam that Islam does not discriminate and does not recognize any difference of race, geography, language and financial status. The world needs to learn from this and politicians need to understand what spirit unites these people of different origins.
